David Jones Bourke Street – Stage 1

i2C is thrilled to be part of the project team that successfully completed Stage 1 of the Bourke Street Mall’s David Jones Ground Floor Beauty and Shopfront refurbishment.

The enhancements feature a contemporary shopfront with brand-new display windows, as well as state-of-the-art beauty and fragrance brand fixtures seamlessly integrated with digital technology.

During this phase, great care was taken to preserve the exquisite heritage-listed plaster moulding elements on the ceiling, rams head cornice mouldings above columns and wall mounted grilles, all while introducing new fittings and finishes to elevate the space. Our enthusiasm remains high as we anticipate the ongoing partnership with David Jones and Prime Build, gearing up for the upcoming Stage 2, scheduled to kick off in early 2024.

i2C provided architectural design, documentation and administration services, along with managing sub-consultants.

We are looking forward to being involved in Stage 2 next year.
