Unity, oneness and connection
Created by artist and proud Awabakal descendant, Matthew Fellingham of FCAD. This beautiful Unity artwork is added to by our team as we come together to each take part in contributing to the evolution of the artwork. It grows and changes with us. It’s part of our story.
The artwork spends six months in each of the i2C studios around the country. As it travels each of our team have the opportunity to apply their handprint to the piece which symbolises oneness, unity and tying together. Constructed from raw copper, the i2C team will each place their hands in water sourced from local waterways, before placing them directly on the artwork. The resulting chemical reaction leads to a multi-layered, collaborative and ever-evolving artwork. The piece is then on display in the hosting studio for the team to experience and share with clients and collaborators.
The Unity artwork, currently sits pride of place on the lands of the Kulin Nation in our Collingwood studio where it will stay until early 2024.
