i2C’s Commitment to Living Buildings and Regenerative Design
This year i2C demonstrates its commitment to Living Buildings and regenerative design with Sustainability Lead, Claire Bowles spending 5 days in Portland, Oregon with the best of the best at the Regenerative Design and new sustainability thinking conference.
Claire will be attending The International Living Future Institute 12th annual unConference, Living Future 2018, on May 1-4, 2018 at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, Oregon and has been invited to participate in a sustainability leadership program in her role as a Living Building Challenge Ambassador and Sustainability Lead for i2C Architects.
‘I’m hugely passionate about Living Buildings – having worked in the UK to launch the Living Building Challenge there in 2013. It’s exciting to be working for i2C Architects who are embracing Living Buildings and are working with clients who are demonstrating real commitment to responsible regenerative design in traditionally difficult sectors of retail and mixed use developments’ – Claire Bowles
This three day event will bring together Authenticity and Action as individuals and organisations with unique backgrounds, experiences and personalities gather to create unified action toward a living future. Keynote speakers, conservationist Terry Tempest Williams, activist Raj Patel, and urban revitalization strategy consultant Majora Carter will deliver their messages on Wednesday night and Thursday and Friday mornings with inspiring messages for attendees.
Claire would be delighted to arrange meetings with clients who may be out at the Living Future Unconference in early May to share ideas on how to best use this knowledge and information to accelerate change in the Australian market.
