374 Murray Street continues to rise
i2C Architects worked closely with Probuild WA to produce floor levels of concrete profile, integrated floor and soffit profile plans along with core elevations to assist the concrete subcontractor in forming each of the floor levels for the Murray Street project. The development in Perth’s CBD is currently under construction and consists of two towers: One 28 levels containing 431 hotel rooms with a ground floor eatery and a second 33 level tower containing 388 residential apartments.
The original architectural documentation was produced using Auto CAD in a 2D format. Our team used REVIT to produce an integrated and coordinated 3D digital model of the floor plates and core incorporating the relevant structure and service arrangement.
Our team were tasked with the challenge to compile, assess and interpret existing documentation and produce a coordinated model. With construction already underway and the design requiring further development we were required to work closely with the entire project team to meet tight deadlines and ensure that construction continued smoothly and to program.
A collaborative approach with Probuild WA resulted in a coordinated model which ensured the accurate and coordinated construction of the core and floor plates.
Construction is underway with completion anticipated for late 2019.
