Coles Berwick construction underway

The development of the new stand-alone Coles in Berwick will replace the existing supermarket and retail space. The new development will see Coles with a mezzanine level as well as a basement carpark. The site hugs the boundary all the way around the building, which provided some design and useability challenges. However with the use of simple materials as well as louvres, the end result will be a desirable supermarket for customers and tenants.

The construction is well underway with the concrete panels installed and steel being erected early September. The builders are still on target for completion/ handover before Christmas.
