Introducing Bradmill Yarraville development
The Bradmill Yarraville development by Frasers Property Australia in partnership with Irongate is a new mixed-use precinct in Melbourne’s Western corridor, only 7.5km from the CBD. Bradmill’s rich history as a cotton mill dates back to 1938 as Australia’s leading denim manufacturer and former cotton mill. Bradmill Industries Limited textile factory was the country’s first and only manufacturer of denim, and a leading supplier of cotton workwear. The 26-hectare factory site had been disused and unloved for more than 16 years – until now.
The new Bradmill Yarraville development will include 1500 townhomes and apartments, and a proposed shopping centre, community facilities, resident amenities, and a heritage-listed precinct.
All the heritage-listed buildings at the site will be retained with two refurbished to provide proposed amenities for residents; one with a sauna, gym, pool, spa and yoga space, the other—Boiler House—with media and entertainment spaces, dining rooms, co-working spaces, lounge and more.
i2C is proud to be designing Bradmill Quarter, the 8800sqm neighbourhood shopping centre for the Yarraville community to enjoy. The centre includes a full-line supermarket, an array of fresh produce stores, eateries, childcare and medical facilities – Bradmill Quarter is set to become a hub of activity and convenience. The Bradmill Quarter retail precinct will connect to The Arbory dining precinct.
