We are proud to announce the following promotions of Madeline Armstrong, Rick Gartner, Joe Wright and Claire Bowles.

Madeline Armstrong to Associate, National Sales Lead.

For i2C, the promotion to Associate acknowledges a team member who embodies i2C’s core values and dedication to providing a high level of service and care within the business.

We are thrilled to share a momentous achievement within our team – the well-deserved promotion of Madeline Armstrong to an Associate.

Maddie’s strategic sales leadership and results are a testament to her hard work and the impact she has had on our team’s success. Her passion for the sales and business management side of our company has been an incredible support for all aspects of our business.

Maddie’s proactive approach to self-education reflects not only her dedication to her own growth but also her commitment to improving the business as a whole.

Rick Gartner to National QA Lead, Associate Director

With an impressive tenure spanning almost 25 years, Associate Director Rick Garter has been an integral part of the i2C family since he first joined us. Having managed i2C’s Perth studio since 2015, Rick brings a wealth of experience in documentation management and a track record of steering projects from inception to completion, consistently achieving excellent results.

As National QA Lead and Associate Director, Rick will oversee the refinement of i2C’s documentation standards, leveraging his invaluable expertise to support the team. His extensive experience in buildability and value management will be beneficial as he oversees our documentation throughout the architecture and construction process.

Rick’s new role is part of our ongoing commitment to continual improvement, building on our QMS, client feedback, and ISO certification. His guidance ensures that i2C continues to deliver unparalleled quality outcomes for our clients and their projects.

Joe Wright to Architect AIA, Design Director, Associate Director

Joe began his career at i2C in 2007 and has been involved in the development of large-scale community masterplans, neighbourhood activity centres, entertainment and lifestyle precincts and mixed-use projects across Australia, New Zealand and the UK. As Design Director, Joe Wright will oversee the design and development of projects across Australia and abroad of varying scales in the retail, mixed use, residential and urban design sectors.

Passionate about community building, Joe enjoys collaborating with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders to develop innovative solutions that anchor projects in community-driven outcomes.

Claire Bowles, MSc, Purpose Director. Associate Director

Claire joined i2C as our Sustainability Lead in 2018 to establish our core sustainability strategy, principles and Sustainability Action Plan. She has led i2C’s Reconciliation Action Plan, Carbon Neutral Certification and most recently B Corp certification. As Purpose Director, Claire will be responsible for embedding purpose and impact across the company and on projects. Claire is a regenerative practitioner who strongly believes that as a B Corp, i2C can be a catalyst for systemic change leading with integrated design for positive social and environmental impact.

Claire will be responsible for developing impact partnerships and building capability across our teams and supply chains with the understanding that we all have a role to play in Climate action and that we need to be brave, step out of our comfort zone and find new ways of doing business in these turbulent times.

Madeline, Joe, Claire and Rick are passionate about their respective areas and highly respected leaders who deserve to be recognised for their contribution to the business. Join us in celebrating these i2C team promotions.
