Pride In Property Event

The annual Property Council of Australia, Pride in Property event is held in collaboration with the NSW Diversity & Inclusion Committee to celebrate stories of the LGBTQIA+ community.

The annual Pride in Property event, organised in collaboration with the NSW Diversity & Inclusion Committee, celebrates the stories and achievements of the LGBTQIA+ community. This year, we were proud to see i2C Associate and DE+I Lead Dan Coman involved in this year’s Property Council NSW event.

Keynote speaker Neralda Jacobs set an inspiring tone for the evening. Followed by a wonderful panel discussion with speakers Dan Coman, Dan Groth, Danielle Higg, Justine Knight, Kristin Hay, and Pavithra Krishna (PK) each sharing their personal stories and lived experiences.

As an industry, we have the potential to do so much more to support the LGBTQIA+ community by creating and maintaining authentic safe spaces. We have the capacity to foster a genuine, lasting sense of queer joy throughout our cities. As individuals, we have a part to play in showing up and advocating for all minority and marginalised voices who are not in the room to speak up for themselves.
