Stage one of Eastern Creek Quarter – or ECQ – will be a super-neighbourhood centre with a range of specialty stores and services, a large children’s play area and other community amenities. A brand new full-line 3,800 sqm Woolworths supermarket and BWS liquor store will anchor the centre.

This first stage of Eastern Creek Quarter is expected to open in late 2019, comprising Woolworths and BWS plus a pharmacy, gym, childcare centre, medical centre and vibrant Street Food precinct.

Peri Macdonald, Executive General Manager – Retail, Frasers Property Australia says the vision for ECQ is to combine a vibrant mix of shops, dining, entertainment options and community spaces to deliver a place for people to create memorable experiences.

“Eastern Creek Quarter will serve a large and growing catchment, so it’s important we get the retail mix right and create a centre where people can not only do their shopping, but also be entertained, enjoy new experiences and feel at home to socialise with friends,” Mr Macdonald says.

“We’re excited to have Woolworths on board and we are looking to partner with recreational, food and experience operators to create a centre the local community can really engage with and be proud of.

“ECQ will bring something new to the area, including a casual style food precinct showcasing exciting international cuisines to provide a unique dining experience. It’s great to be on site and underway,” he says.

ECQ will be within a 15 minute drive for over 330,000 people and within a 30 minute drive for 1.3 million people.

In late 2016, Frasers Property was awarded exclusive development rights to the 15ha site in Eastern Creek and has collaborated closely with Western Sydney Parklands Trust (WSPT) to progress plans for ECQ. The company has a long-standing relationship with WSPT, having previously delivered the 100ha Eastern Creek Industrial Estate.

Frasers Property is committed to a 6 Star Green Star rating for ECQ and has proposed a design that will respond to its location adjacent to the parklands by integrating recreational facilities and amenities that connect people with the natural bushland.
