Delacombe Town Centre – DA Approved
Stage 1 of the Delacombe Town Centre received planning approval during the first quarter of 2015. i2C has worked closely with both the developer (Lascorp) & Ballarat City Council over the previous 2 years to ensure that this $50m High Street Precinct achieved the highest benchmarks in cutting-edge urban design, pedestrian connectivity, community amenity, and commercial viability. View here the latest video walk-through and renders.
The centre will comprise a full line Supermarket & DDS, ALDI and associated specialty shops with the main retail anchors sitting on either side of the north-south centrally spined high street. Specific focus has been placed on the town square elements to create an intimate and inviting gathering and meeting place. A medical centre and library will form the initial nucleus of the ‘well-being’ precinct to the southern end of the site which will eventually link to a community centre, school precinct and retail expansion via the future extension of the central high street.
