Situated on Turrbal/Yuggera Country, in South Brisbane, this new i2C studio is close to Maiwar, the Brisbane River. Historically known as a significant source of food, and a shared gathering place for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, the South Brisbane area is these days known as an arts and culture centre of the city.

Through co-creating murals with Bernice Hookey, a proud Waanyi and Muruwari woman, i2C’s Branded Environments and Interior Design team were able to explore multiple aspects of culture and life through both pre and post-colonialism lenses. With a focus on encouraging culturally safe and inclusive conversations, this project ensures the best brand experience for i2C’s Brisbane Studio.
